Reducing plastic use
We are committed to reducing single-use plastics in our guests' experience and beyond. Our hotels are taking steps to reduce plastic waste, including eliminating plastic water bottles and installing refillable bathroom accessories.
This is just the beginning of the adventure, but our goal is to eliminate +1/2 million plastic bottles by bottling our own water and +2 million bottles from in-room amenities by the end of 2023.
Conserving water and reducing our carbon footprint every day
At The View, we are implementing solutions to optimize energy and water consumption in our hotels to manage our operations more responsibly.
This involves investing in renewable energy infrastructures in our hotels to support our operations with a more sustainable energy mix. But it also involves raising awareness among our customers, who are co-creators of the sustainable experience, of the need to make choices that minimize water and energy consumption (linen management, etc.).
Growing organic herbs in our hotels
The herbs and aromatic plants used in our cocktails are grown on site in an environmentally-friendly way, without the use of fertilizers or chemical additives.
These herbs are picked at the minute for optimal fragrance and taste, and also to combat food waste.
